Yael Naim is a French/Israeli indie folk singer-songwriter. She is France and was born in 1978. She plays piano, guitar and Ukulele. Yael began her career in 2000 and has been signed to Warner Music France and Tot ou tard. She started out her music as a soloist in the Israel Air Force Orchestra, and began to rise with her performance in the musical Les Dix Commandements.

Yael has released three studio albums In a Man's Womb in 2001, Yael Naim in 2007 and She Was a Boy in 2010. From these great albums Yael has composed nine hit singles some such as "You Disappear" in 2001, "Toxic" in 2007, "Far Far" in 2009, "Go to the River" in 2010 and "Come Home" in 2011. Through out her career Yael has been nominated for five awards , and she has won too, Victoires da la Musique- Album of the Year in 2008 and Victoires de la Musique- Best Female Singer of the Year in 2011.
