Jeff Dunham

Facination with ventriloquism began at the age of eight when his parents gave him his first dummy with an accompanying instruction record album. Soon when he was at the age of 10, he began preforming for any and every audience he could find. After moving to Los Angeles he became well known on the National Comedy Club circuit. There he performed on just about every stand up comedy show known to man. In addition, he did frequent guest appearances on Late Night with Dave Letterman and the Tonight Show.

Jeff's popularity exploded with his one hour prime time special "Arguing with Myself", which premiered on comedy central in 2006. Almost immediately after it emerged, the the views rocketed into 10s of millions and fans were posting clips all over the web. Shortly after, in 2007, Dunham's self produced "Spark of Insanity" premiered on comedy central with record breaking ratings and million plus DVD sales. "Spark" was rated the best DVD of the year, by amazons consumers. In 2008, Dunham's third event "A Very Special Christmas Special" premiered as cable channels most watched program ever with 6.6 million viewers.

Dunham was named as the top grossing live comedian act in the world in 2009 and 2010 by Pollstar, the concert industry trade magazine. He has sold out stadium sized shows across three continents, from the United Kingdom to Sydney, Toronto to Copenhagen. He has sold out a 8,000 seat arena in Helsinki, Finland on Easter Sunday but Dunham does not speak a word of Finnish. Dunham's signature characters ; Walter-the grumpy retiree; Bubba J- the beer swilling, NASCAR loving and resolutely red neck; Peanut- the furry and manic; Jose Jalapeno-the spicy pepper from south of the border; Achmed- the bumbling skeletal dead terrorist.
