Elton John

Elton John is an English singer-songwriter, composer, pianist, and an actor at times. Working with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967, Taupin and John have collaborated on more that 30 albums. John has sold more than 250 million records, ranking him as one of the most successful artists of all time! In addition, his single "Candle in the Wind 1997" has sold over 33 million copies worldwide, and is the best selling single in Billboard history.

Overall, Elton John has more than 50 Top 40 hits, 56 Top 40 singles, 16 Top 10, four number 2 hits, and nine number 1 hits. He has played almost 3,000 concerts worldwide. In addition to his huge musical success, he has also been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for "services to music and charitable services" in 1998. Elton John is currently planning his return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with his new show "The Million Dollar Piano" which begins on September 28.
