Blake Shelton

An American country music artist, Blake Tollison Shelton was born on June 18, 1976, and began his professional music career in 1998 when he signed to Giant Records. He has released three EPs, six studio albums, and two complilation albums. Of these collected works are The Dreamer, Pure BS, Red River Blue (albums), Hillbilly Bone, All About Tonight (EPs), and Loaded: The Best of Blake Shelton (Compilation). He has charted seventeen singles on the country charts, including "Austin", "Some Beach", "Home", and "God Gave Me You".

Shelton has been nominated for eleven awards including Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, CMT Music Awards, and Teen Choice Awards. In addition, he has won seven awards total. His latest single, "Honey Bee" has received 138,000 downloads in its first week and was certified gold in its seventh week setting a new record for the fasted gold certification by a male country singer. In addition, Shelton was a coach on the NBC show The Voice.
